City Fresh Foods

As we welcome a New Year, it is important to reflect on the previous year.  In particular City Fresh Foods can look back on two important steps the company took over the last 6 months.  The first step was to bring on our new general manager, JR Mercer.  JR has brought invaluable industry knowledge and a gracious and effective process of constructive implementation to our company which is better for it.  The second step was our move to our new, larger facility.  City Fresh Foods can finally stretch its legs and now with adequate space improve our processes, enhance our quality and offer our services to new customers.

We have been eagerly gearing up for 2010.  Let me start with a few announcements:  First we are now offering full service catering; we have created a unique menu that highlights the culinary talent of our team and we have brought in some new local talent that we will be announcing shortly.  Together, we will be offering our patented professional quality service – so think of us as your caterer for your next special event.

Also, for those who currently receive our service we are offering Salad to Go; a selection of freshly made salads delivered to your building for lunch.  We are even introducing a Greek Salad and a Grilled Shrimp to the mix.

We will continue to work on ‘continuous improvement’ by implementing lean manufacturing practices that reduces waste and improves quality.  This will continue to keep us cost effective as we continue to expand our service of high quality delivered meals to the young and elders in our communities.  Wishing all of you peace and happiness as we enter a new decade.
